Novelties 2026

Light + Building 2026 — Thank you for visiting kreon

From 8 to 13 March 2026, kreon participated in Light + Building, the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building technology, held at Messe Frankfurt. Throughout the week, we had the pleasure of welcoming visitors to our stand in Hall 3.1 · Booth D60, where architects, lighting designers, planners, and partners from around the world came together to exchange ideas and explore the future of architectural lighting.

We were very pleased with the high number of visitors and the many inspiring conversations at our stand. With more than 1,700 scanned visitors during the week, our team was continuously engaged in presenting our latest developments and discussing projects and ideas. The positive response—both to our product innovations and the concept studies presented—made this edition of the fair particularly successful for us. We returned from Frankfurt with a very positive outlook and strong momentum for the months ahead.

During the fair, visitors discovered a carefully curated selection from kreon’s architectural lighting portfolio, along with several new innovations that will be launched soon. These novelties further expand our approach to lighting as an architectural tool, with a clear focus on precision, visual comfort, and seamless integration into architecture.

Concepts presented at Light+Building 2026

In addition to the upcoming product launches, we also offered a first glimpse of several conceptual studies exploring new directions for the kreon range.

These included:

  • kreon DTJ wall application:
a decorative wall luminaire developed in collaboration with designer Dennis 't Jampens
  • kreon downlight concept:
exploring new possibilities in architectural recessed lighting
  • kreon wall concept:
    investigating integrated wall lighting solutions
  • kreon spotlight concept:
a study on compact and precise accent lighting

These concepts reflect our ongoing research into how light can be shaped by architecture and material, and how lighting tools can evolve to support new spatial expressions.

NEW: kreon stark

kreon stark, a new downlight family designed to meet the demands of contemporary architecture with absolute clarity and precision.

kreon stark combines a pure, reduced form with high visual comfort and technical performance, making it suitable for a wide range of architectural applications—from residential interiors to high-end hospitality and commercial projects. The design is deliberately restrained, allowing the luminaire to integrate seamlessly into ceilings while delivering light exactly where it is needed.

The family has been developed with a strong focus on flexibility and consistency. Different configurations, beam characteristics, and mounting options allow designers to create coherent lighting concepts across an entire project, without compromising on aesthetics or performance. Attention to detail—optics, finishes, and light quality—ensures a calm and balanced visual result.

With kreon stark, light becomes an architectural tool rather than a visual statement in itself: precise, comfortable, and quietly present.

NEW: kreon up 40 linear

kreon up 40 linear is a compact uplight designed to enhance vertical surfaces with precision. Available in single or double output, it functions as a wall grazer or direct-view luminaire. Suitable for recessed floor mounting or surface wall mounting, up 40 linear brings controlled architectural light to façades and interiors alike.

NEW: kreon vergo cone

The kreon vergo outdoor lighting family continues to evolve with the introduction of two refined cone-shaped luminaires: kreon vergo cone adjustable and kreon vergo cone fixed.

Designed to complement the existing vergo collection, these new luminaires introduce a distinct architectural form while maintaining the same philosophy of precise, unobtrusive outdoor lighting. The cone-shaped geometry offers a soft, sculptural presence in the landscape while delivering controlled illumination for pathways, vegetation and architectural elements.

Like the rest of the kreon vergo family, the new cone versions combine durability with refined lighting performance. Equipped with advanced optics and designed for demanding outdoor environments, they provide precise light distribution while seamlessly integrating into architectural landscapes.

The introduction of two versions allows designers to adapt the lighting to different spatial needs.

The adjustable version enables directional lighting for accentuating specific landscape features, while the fixed version provides a calm and uniform downward illumination.

Together with the existing directional spotlight, the new cone luminaires further expand the versatility of the vergo system, offering architects and lighting designers additional tools to create refined and atmospheric outdoor environments.

NEW: kreon nano track

kreon nanotrack is an ultra-compact low-voltage track system designed to integrate seamlessly into contemporary architecture. With its extremely refined profile, the system introduces lighting into a space with the utmost discretion, allowing light to become the primary architectural element.

Measuring just 20 mm in height with a minimal 7 mm visible width, kreon nanotrack creates a delicate linear presence that can be applied across ceilings and walls. The system supports surface, recessed and pendant installations, enabling designers to use light with maximum flexibility while maintaining visual purity.

Powered by 48V technology and compatible with DALI dimming, each fixture on the track can be individually controlled, offering precise lighting control for a wide variety of architectural scenarios.

A selection of dedicated lighting tools can be mounted on the track, including linear reflectors, compact spotlights and directional fixtures, allowing both ambient and accent lighting to coexist within one minimal system.

Available in black or white, kreon nanotrack integrates naturally into different architectural contexts while maintaining the restrained visual language that defines kreon lighting tools.
